These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Coaches Pick ("Coaches Pick," "we," "us") for use of coachespick.com, our league management platform, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing the Service, creating an account, registering for an event, or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Children's Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Coaches Pick provides software and related tools for youth sports league operations, including dashboards, rosters, scheduling, messaging, reporting, and event registration. We may also offer consulting. The platform is free for league owners. Participants (or their parents or guardians) pay a fee to register for events. Exact amounts are set for each league or event.
Coaches Pick is software. We do not operate your league, coach your players, staff your games, or supervise children. League operators remain responsible for their programs, facilities, volunteers, and compliance with sport and local rules.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or register someone for an event. Children under 13 may not create accounts. Youth participants are added only by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized league operator, as described in our Children's Privacy Policy.

If you register a child or enter a child's information, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you are a league operator authorized by the parent or guardian to do so. You consent to our collection and use of that child's information as described in the Children's Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the child's participation, transportation, equipment, and any medical or eligibility decisions. You assume the inherent risks of youth sports on behalf of yourself and, to the extent allowed by law, the child you register.
If you operate a league on the Service, you are responsible for:
Registering for an event is an offer to purchase a spot in that event. When signup is completed and payment is submitted, the registration is accepted and the fee is earned, subject only to the limited exceptions in the Refund Policy.
You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide. You are responsible for providing a valid payment method and for any chargebacks you initiate in bad faith.
Event registration fees are not refundable after signup is complete. Change of mind, schedule conflicts, no-shows, and voluntary withdrawal do not qualify for a refund. The full rules, including the narrow exceptions for duplicate charges and cancelled events, are in the Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
You may not:
You retain ownership of content you submit (rosters, messages, photos, league materials). You grant Coaches Pick a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it, including permission to upload photos of children. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.
The Service, including software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Coaches Pick and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your league or family participation. You may not copy, resell, or create a competing service from our materials.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduling, messaging, or registration will meet your league's needs. We are not a medical provider, insurer, or childcare service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COACHES PICK AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE EVENT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You will defend and indemnify Coaches Pick against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your league operations, content you submit, a child you register, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for a child or other user, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payments already due, refunds, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The "Last updated" date will change. Material changes take effect when posted, or on the date we specify. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Florida, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
