Gahanna Lincoln finished 10-0 and took a first-round bye. On October 25, 2026, the Ohio High School Athletic Association posted the football playoff pairings, and Lincoln is the No. 1 seed in Division I, Region 3. The pairings release is the sheet. Cincinnati Princeton is the other Division I team at 10-0, the No. 1 seed in Region 4, also on a bye.

Two other 10-0 teams play this Friday. Columbus West is the No. 6 seed in Division II, Region 8, and hosts Trenton Edgewood, which is 6-4. Collins Western Reserve is the No. 5 seed in Division VI, Region 22, and hosts Hamler Patrick Henry, which is 7-3. The release sets those games, and every other first-round game, for Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m.

The same sheet lists 27 teams at 10-0 and four teams at 9-0. It runs 28 regions, seeds 1 through 12 in each, which is 336 playoff teams: 112 first-round games and 112 byes. A Columbus flag football family looking up a Friday field needs the same three facts the pairings used: the host, the kickoff, and the record.

Who finished 10-0 and still plays Friday?

Columbus West and Collins Western Reserve. West hosts Edgewood. Western Reserve hosts Patrick Henry. Both kick off at 7 p.m. on October 30.

West’s record and West’s seed are different facts. The pairings print both: 10-0, and the No. 6 seed. Western Reserve is 10-0 and the No. 5 seed. The final computer ratings are in the Week 10 ratings PDF linked from the release. The bracket itself is enough to show that a perfect record can still be a Friday host. Cincinnati flag football and Cleveland flag football programs already stack two Friday games on one complex. The host field has to be on the card before the parking lot fills.

Which 10-0 teams took a first-round bye?

Twenty-five of the 27. Gahanna Lincoln and Cincinnati Princeton are the Division I pair, and both are No. 1 seeds.

The release gives the top four seeds in each region a bye. Seeds 5 through 8 host seeds 9 through 12. These are the other 10-0 teams on a bye, with the seed the sheet printed:

  • Division II: Mayfield, Region 5, No. 4. Sunbury Big Walnut, Region 7, No. 2.
  • Division III: Willoughby South, Region 9, No. 1. Newark Licking Valley, Region 11, No. 2. Bellbrook, Region 12, No. 1.
  • Division IV: Rocky River, Region 13, No. 2. Ottawa-Glandorf, Region 14, No. 1. Shelby, Region 14, No. 2. Sandusky Perkins, Region 14, No. 3.
  • Division V: Perry, Barnesville, Girard, and Garrettsville Garfield, Region 17, seeds 1 through 4.
  • Division VI: Liberty Center, Lima Central Catholic, and Elmore Woodmore, Region 22, seeds 1 through 3. Hannibal River, Region 23, No. 1. New Madison Tri-Village, Region 24, No. 1.
  • Division VII: Leipsic, Region 26, No. 1. Bascom Hopewell-Loudon, Region 26, No. 2. Willow Wood Symmes Valley, Region 27, No. 1. Danville, Region 27, No. 2. Maria Stein Marion Local, Region 28, No. 1.

Four more teams are listed at 9-0, all on a bye: Columbus Bishop Watterson, Region 7, No. 1; Gnadenhutten Indian Valley, Region 15, No. 1; Cincinnati North College Hill, Region 16, No. 4; and La Grange Keystone, Region 18, No. 1. Big Walnut is 10-0 and the No. 2 seed in the same region where Watterson is 9-0 and the No. 1 seed. The sheet is comfortable printing those two lines side by side. A rec card can do the same with a record and a field.

How many teams are in the bracket?

336. The pairings list 28 regions and seeds 1 through 12 in each region.

That is 224 teams playing on Friday, two in each of the 112 games, and 112 teams waiting on a bye. The better seed hosts through the first three rounds. The regional final on November 20 moves to a neutral site. The state semifinals rebracket and are set for Friday, November 27. The tournament coverage page points the seven championship games to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton on December 3–5. Canton flag football families already know that stadium. Ohio’s first girls flag football final was played there on May 16, and the flag final post has that 20-19 score.

What time is Friday’s kickoff?

7 p.m. on Friday, October 30, for every first-round game on the pairings sheet.

The release says the games are at 7 p.m. unless noted otherwise, and the 112 games are printed without a second time. Regional quarterfinals are Friday, November 6. Regional semifinals are Friday, November 13. The October 19 ticket release says regional and state-semifinal games are Friday nights at 7 p.m., and that regional tickets go on sale every Monday at noon at ohsaa.org/tickets. October 26 is the Monday before the first round. A league that copies the habit puts the kickoff on the league dashboard before a coach texts a gate change from the lot. The Friday-night post is the rec version of that 7 p.m. line.

A 10-0 record and a 7 p.m. kickoff still need a field on the card.

When do the seven championship games start in Canton?

Division II starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

The October 19 schedule gives Friday, December 4, three games: Division V at 10:30 a.m., Division III at 3 p.m., and Division I at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5, has Division VII at 10:30 a.m., Division VI at 3 p.m., and Division IV at 7:30 p.m. All-session general admission is $95 for adults and $60 for students. A Friday ticket or a Saturday ticket, covering that day’s three games, is $42 for adults and $30 for students. General-admission holders exit the stadium between games. All-session Stadium Club tickets are $155, and the same package with a Lot C parking pass is $215. A Stadium Club ticket for Friday or Saturday is $77. Single-game tickets go on sale November 30. Youth, middle school, and high school teams of at least 12 students can buy championship tickets at $6 for students and $12 for up to four adults with the team. Seven kickoffs across three days is the same problem a Saturday rec slate has. Toledo flag football and Dayton flag football directors already publish more than one start time.

What should a Friday field copy from the pairings?

The host, the 7 p.m. kickoff, and the seed, on one line. A bye is its own line.

Lincoln’s bye and West’s Friday game are both on the October 25 sheet. A house program can do the same with a shorter card: Field 1 at 7:00 p.m. for the older division, Field 2 at 7:00 p.m. for the younger division, and a note when the second game waits on the first. Put that line in the dashboard before anyone screenshots last week’s flyer. The Indiana finals put six scores on one stadium across two days. The flag growth post is the participation side of a Friday that keeps adding teams. Akron flag football parks already share a gate with a second kickoff.

Which cities should post the kickoff before the parking lot?

Any city whose Friday already has two games and one gate.

Columbus has Lincoln on a bye and West hosting at 7 p.m. Cincinnati has Princeton on a bye in Region 4. Canton has the championship weekend and a first-round host in Canton McKinley, the No. 7 seed in Region 1, which plays Brunswick. Cleveland has St. Ignatius, the No. 8 seed in Region 1, hosting Berea-Midpark. Those city names are on the pairings. The field name still has to be on the message. Columbus, Cincinnati, Canton, and Cleveland flag programs can use the same card. Indianapolis flag football already has a published finals weekend on the Cascade post.

What should a director check before Friday?

Each game has a field, a kickoff, and a host. A bye is labeled, and a 7 p.m. line is used only for a 7 p.m. game.

  • A first-round game and a bye are separate lines.
  • The host field is visible before the parking lot.
  • Two games at 7 p.m. name two fields.
  • A team of 12 traveling to a championship game has its own ticket note.
  • A family with two players can tell which whistle is which.
  • If you cite the bracket, cite the source: the October 25 pairings for 10-0 and 336 teams, and the October 19 release for Canton times and prices.

Lincoln’s line was 10-0 and a bye. West’s line was 10-0 and a 7 p.m. host. The bracket behind both lines is 336 teams and 112 Friday games. A rec league can write the field down. Brands that want to be on that field can sponsor a game. Directors can request a demo. Coaches Pick stays free for league owners, including the home page families already use to find a league.
